Universal Principles of Design sketch notes
November 03, 2017I bring gifts! 102 gifts, to be precise. Below are my sketch notes covering most of the principles described in The Universal Principles of Design, created over the course of a semester in Cassini Nazir's Design Principles class at UT Dallas. It's a great book, so if you're interested in such things, I highly recommend it. (Also an excellent class/instructor if you're looking for one.)
EDIT: As a quick aside, Cassini has since moved on to UNT and they are all the richer for it.
If you aren’t familiar with sketch notes, they are a way of taking notes that are more effective for learning (see the sketch for Depth of Processing) and the results are much more entertaining to boot. Check out Mike Rohde’s Sketchnotes Workbook if you’re new to sketch notes like I was and would like a good primer.
